Free practice and Pro

The website’s question guides are free to read. In the browser version at practice-pad.app/javascript-interview-practice, a first visit includes a short walkthrough in which you can try a question in the editor; after that the editor requires Pro, which starts with a free trial. Pro unlocks all 24 questions and the AI panel.

Your Pro plan

Existing purchases and previously granted access continue to be honoured under their agreed terms.

Pro gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Practice Pad Pro. On the website it is available as a monthly or a yearly subscription, each starting with a 7-day free trial.

Free trial and automatic renewal. One free trial is available per customer across monthly and yearly plans. To start the trial you give a payment card at checkout. Nothing is charged during the 7-day trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the monthly or yearly price shown at checkout is charged when it ends, and then every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. We will send you an email reminder to cancel two days before your payment is due.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from your account on the practice page (sign in with the email you used at checkout) or through the Paddle links in your emails from Paddle. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged and Pro ends when the trial would have ended. If you cancel a paid subscription, it does not renew and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Subscribers keep the price they signed up at unless we tell you about a change in advance. Lifetime licences have no renewal charge and do not expire after a month or year.

Use Pro by signing in with your purchase email. Do not share or resell your purchase access, sign-in codes or account. An internet connection is required to use the browser editor.

Your account

The browser walkthrough can be used without an account. Sign-in is available to anyone with an active free trial, subscription or lifetime licence. Signing in with your purchase email creates an account, saves your code and progress and unlocks Pro in any browser you sign in on. Keep access to your email address: it is the only way to sign in. While signed in, you can delete your account from the practice page. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it first from your account or through Paddle to stop future charges. If you can no longer sign in, contact support to request deletion. Purchase records are kept so that Pro can be restored if you sign in again. We may suspend an account used to abuse the service, for example by automating requests to the AI panel.

Prices and payment

The UK prices are £10 per month after the free trial, £40 per year. Elsewhere, the app detects your country to display your offer. Your checkout displays the currency and final total, including applicable taxes, before you pay. There is no country selector for choosing a different Practice Pad offer.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles payment, invoices and order-related enquiries. Your payment is also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms and the refund policy.

AI review

AI review is included with Pro, including during the free trial, and uses our key, with a choice of Sonnet 5 or Haiku 4.5 and a fair-use allowance of £2 in estimated AI usage costs per account per calendar month for monthly and lifetime plans, or £4 for yearly plans. It resets on the first of each month at 00:00 UTC. A daily usage limit also applies. We may adjust these limits to keep the service sustainable. You choose what to submit for review. AI output can be incorrect, so check it before relying on it. Practice Pad does not guarantee an interview result, employment outcome or uninterrupted availability of a third-party AI service.

Refunds and access

An approved refund of the Pro purchase or a payment chargeback may deactivate Pro access. The question guides remain free to read. See Refunds for how to request help. These terms do not exclude or restrict rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Privacy and support

Our privacy notice explains payment verification, recovery emails, optional AI and analytics. Contact us if your purchase does not activate or you lose access to your purchase email; never send your API key, card details or recovery code.
